Alamiya was the host broadcaster of the King’s Cup final and the organizer of the ceremony celebrations.
JEDDAH—As part of the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman crowned Saturday May 12, Jeddah’s Al-Ittihad FC as King’s Cup Champion, after defeating Harmah City’s Al-Faisali FC at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.
After a thrilling first and second halves that ended with a 1 – 1, Al-Ittihad pushed its way in the extra time, in which it was able to score two more goals announcing its victory with 3 – 1.
Earlier, the event began with a ceremony celebration with families attending the King’s Cup for the first time, after the recent Saudi reforms, in which women were allowed to attend the football matches.
The ceremony included, the National Anthem performed by 250 Musicians from the Royal Guards, an impressive drone shows and firework sequences, followed by a singing performance by Muhammad Abdu.
Alamiya was honored to be appointed by His Excellency Turki Al-Sheikh, as the King’s Cup host broadcaster and the organizer of the ceremony celebrations.
To insure a professional coverage process, Alamiya deployed a total of five OB trucks, more than 130 cameras and 1 helicopter equipped with HD Cineflex Cameras for the match and the ceremony, catering for the needs of local and international broadcasters such as Abu Dhabi TV, Dubai TV and KSA Sports as well as for the Saudi Royal Protocol.
